A phenomenal book on humans and our relationship with nature is “Ishmael” by Daniel Quinn (1992). There are very convincing arguments throughout about how the dominate culture of today’s world is a self-destructing one. If you are interested in why we seem to be the only species at odds with nature, this is a must read.
